Gonna be my first time. We are staying in Wendover. Hope to drive the 50 Fordor next year

 

Well this is my last sleep night at home before leaving for Bonneville. Bag is packed and roadster is almost ready to head out. Rolling Bones Boys will be arriving around noon or so for a lunch at my shop and then we will split for North Platte Nebraska for the night.
Can't wait.....See everyone on the salt...

Here's a tip... When you all get to Utah, be sure everyone leaves their left turn signals on for the rest of the trip. Then everyone will think you're locals!

I was a tad on the late side, thanks to a lovely 3.5 hour wait at the border,but I did manage to catch up with the circus for an hour or so in Erie PA...



















Damn I wanted to hop in. Gotta wait 'til Friday... but at least Friday's getting closer

They made it to The Salt Flats Speed Shop in SLC today.

 

Thunderbirdesq here on the hamb is doing some of the driving this year. Can't remember the class. Lookin to break 161 mph. Hope they keep us posted. Good luck Andy.

Sinticket is sharing some of the driving duties with Thunderbirdesq in the '29 roadster. I can't remember the class either.

Based on the pictures posted on F.B of the flatty being swapped into the roadster, they aren't kiddin' around.

next year i will be fallowing you guys hopefully! that is my goal i set.. bonneville 2014.. in the 34 3 window.

 

Just retured from the salt this afternoon. Ran with the bones boys and had a blast...The speed gods did not shine on us this year. But there is always next year. Keith with the 560 "Y" block car ran a 188 and some change and toasted a piston on the next run. So he is done for this year.
The 532 roadster with the new dual four flat motor took out the clutch on it's firsat test run. Andy & Jayson worked there butts off installing new clutch & flywheel after a quick trip to Salt Lake to get parts.
I hear thay ran a 141 and some change with the clutch not working right this AM and were going to try agin this afternoon.
