Dude, I am definitely going to have to do that. I'm interested to see the inside. i read someone talking to you about a 2 piece set up that doesn't require the larger tunnel and keeps the back seat. Thats a 2 piece drive shaft and a bearing right? Did you go that route? And have you fab up your floor yet? What was the final cost if you dont mind me asking?

By the way, my soon to be wife an I are going to try and make Ventura Nationals. And I am going to try and get the shoebox back on the road by then so we can take that. I just need to order parts to rebuild the steering box.

Yo.. I did NOT go the 2 piece driveshaft route and the tunnel is very very minimal in my car. I had to cut a small part of the seat so the seat could fit over the tunnel but nothing major. I have not closed up the trunk yet. I think I'm going to keep it open for a while just to keep an eye on the welds and make sure everything is good before finishing the trunk. The cost of the kit was $950 the bags about $1300 (accuair) and then fig 200-300 misc. sheet metal wire grinding discs etc. Oh and mustang gas tank $80 to avoid bags blowing out and you blowing up..worth it.

I will be at Ventura nationals with the f100...a few guys in my car club and some others I met on instagram are going to meet up to cruise there if you want to meet where we meet and cruise up let me know.

I used Jiminez brothers trailing arms kit! No need for 2 piece drive shaft. I got it super low with HUGE tires and have hardly any tunnel

What size tire are you running? Sorry I don't know if you mentioned it earlier.Just wondering because I'm running firestone 670's and they rub the wheel wells. I'm kinda scared to cut them out due to the trunk supports. Cars laying frame with the gambino notch but tires keep it from laying body.

I'm running Firestone 7.00 - 15. I cut wheel wells out and trunk supports didn't change anything for me. I'm going to fab some new ones in the future. Out here in so cal it hardly rains so I'm unmotivated and burnt out at the moment haha. So for now I'm not rocking wheel wells.

I have a 1950 Ford Coupe. Took the body off the frame, Does anyone know if the MII front clip matches up well to the frame of the 1950 Ford ?

What I'm trying to accomplish is front disc brakes with a descent suspension

Don't do it! Go with a conversion from ECI or Fat Man. MII will not improve ANYTHING over stock.

Have you had your box out yet? I have my finger on the trigger for one of those kits just wondering how they ride? ... how much side to side moment do you get between aired up/down with the pan hard bar.... i know there's always gonna be some but someone told me there was almost two inch difference, which would make it hard to run wider wheels

Been a while since I was on the HAMB but here is an update. Since last on I have fully airbagged the shoebox and also did the Volvo steering box conversion. I have been driving the hell out of the car and recently decided I wanted a shiny paint job. My car is currently in the paint shop and should be out by next week! here are some updated pics and videos of the Shoebox as she sits now.

Look up "RetroSound" out of Henderson, NV. They've got choices from $200. Good stereos, just no CD.
