Jane & I hope to be there also, I will bring my Fairlane. The Iowa Hill Climb is the same week end but the Model A Heap is not running well, and will not be race ready.

    Hey guys,

Thanks for starting a thread. Interest in Mississippi Mayhem has been tremendous. I am looking forward to meeting you all at the show. Those who say you are coming, could you do me a favor and register?

I am trying to gauge attendance and space planning and have this crazy notion that we are going to get slammed at the last minute.

There is a lot going on so be sure to check out the website for our full schedule: http://www.mississippimayhem.com

Friday night's band lineup had a slight change. Cash O'Riley is on probation and can't leave the state. We are still looking to fill his slot from 7-9pm. Otherwise, The Bad Companions will be playing from 5-7pm and Mad Trucker Gone Mad takes the stage at 10pm.

    Saturday's line up:
    The Star Chiefs 1-3pm
    The Trip Daddys 5-7pm
    Liam Ford Band 8-10pm
    Hillbilly Casino 10-Midnight

The 300 foot drag strip belongs to the La Crosse Interstate Speedway. It's actually the straightaway between turns 4 and 1 of their Nascar track. They will be hosting their Street Drags Friday night of the show. For 5 bucks you can go out and drag your ride. This is for everyone, whether you have a hot rod or not. So even if you are just coming as a spectator, you can jump in your daily driver and drag on the track, if you wish. Vehicles will be separated into classes.

Camping is available on the grounds for $30 a night. Other lodging options are listed on the website. Admission is $10 per day at the gate or $15 for the weekend if you purchase online. Get on it!

    We're gonna party like it's 1959!

    Cheers!

It would if I were your wife!

There will plenty of activities for the ladies. Pin up contest, dance contest, shopping, make up and hair workshops...

Several people have already claimed it as their birthday and anniversary parties. What's one more? I think we need to do a special dedication on stage for all those celebrating that weekend.

HOTEL UPDATE!! There are 5 rooms still available at the AmericInn in West Salem. This is the closest hotel to Mississippi Mayhem, just 2 miles away. Five miles down the road, the Hampton Inn and Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska still have plenty of rooms left. The group rates for these expires on August 13, mention Mississippi Mayhem for the discount. Only one week left to get a deal!

    Hotel options: http://www.mississippimayhem.com/hotels/

Camping on the grounds is also available for $30/night. Includes common bathrooms and showers, limited electricity. There are also two campgrounds within 2 miles of the show. Neshonoc resort is on a lake and has some pretty sweet cabins for reasonable rates. That's where I would stay if I didn't already live here.
