Got a axle for my 27 t coupe. Supposed to be a 32 axle from a 32 sedan that was hot rodded long ago. Does it look like a dago?

  3. Definately not a 32 heavy axle

  4. Is it just me, or does the camber on the drivers side of the axle look all sorts of wrong?

It looks like mine which I've been told looks like a dago. It's got those squashed flanges.

Whatever they are, I've got one just like it. Hammered top/bottom and front/back.

Definitely not a '32. It looks like a Model A axle- which would make sense since the perches are Model A. It may be 1933-1934 though. What is the measurement of the height of the perch boss? If it is 2.25" it is Model A and if it is 2" it is probably 1933-1934.

Not a '32 HEAVY. Standard '32 is same as '33-'34.

There is 32, then there is 33-36. All real 1932 axles were what everybody calls the "heavy". The standard in a 32 was "heavy". The only reason you might find a non-heavy axle in a 32 is if it got replaced somewhere in the last 81 years.

Levimans is a dago'd model A axle, yous looks to be a 33-36 dago axle.

I have a 28-31 dago, 32 heavy dago, 33-36 dago and a 37-41 dago, ill have to get pics of them all sometime.

attatched are pics of the two 32 heavy dago axles i have and one of the model A dago axles i have.

easiest way to tell yours is to measure the perch width, 2-1/4 = A and 2" equals 33-36 being that we already know its not a 32 heavy.

  12. Nice axle! I think it would be great for your 27. I like the stance of the axle, dago or not it looks great!

Ok, I'm having the axle brought here in a week or so. I'm going to run it either way I was just curious as to what it actually was.
