What is it? It's so cool... Old truck

Saw this on my way back to Chicago from Tampa. It was traveling in Tennesse. Dying to know what it is. Sorry, these are the best shots I could get 80 MPH.

It looks like an International.

 

Yeah, 34-36 International C-30 1.5 ton looks like.

 

Why would is it being transported like that? Is that how some people buy cars from long distances? Sorry but I'm just curious I have never seen anything that old on the back of a transporter. Most of the old stuff I see is crushed and in the back of scrap trucks going to Birmingham.

 

I'd say it's someone's new toy. Going to a good home, I hope.

 

That's insane! Why would anybody scrap such a cool old truck? Glad this one was saved.

 

I was going ti saw international. That truck is too cool to be scrapped

 

I think that is what Mike Hamel's truck started out as.

 

Wherever its going, I hope it stays exactly like that. I know this a hot rod site, but that already looks like a hot rod dump truck. Well...maybe I would a little extra something under the hood

 

I agree old dump trucks from the 30's, 40's and early 50's look cool. Glad to see this one get saved.......

I think I may be biased though, I grew up around dump trucks and trailers... My old man owned a bunch of then.
