Parking brake handle maybe? I'm curious too. Looks like it was an old breaker bar repurposed

Reminds me of the Truck parking brakes of the 60's that went under the left hand dash.

Man..... this is going to be one cool ride
But I do have to ask
What's with the snap-on breaker bar?
    E-break handle?

since everyone is trying to fugar out what the snap on breaker bar was for , first off it was my father , , he really never had a complete tool set , always a bunch of tools throwned together and nothing ever matched , so saying that , I needed a handle for the pop up speaker grill / gauge pod , so what better choice then to use something of my father , if he was alive I would get a good ass kicking for using his good tools for makeshift car parts , but oh well lol. also its a piece that no one will be able to see because it doesn't hang down under the dash , so im going to leave all the gouges and scraps in it ,

Clever ideal with the tools, I think your Dad would be proud. Ready to fire it up, you mean you don't have to make "voom, voom", sounds anymore....Jim

Love the fact that you used your dads tool as a part of your car and left it with all the character your dad and you both have added to it. You'll always know its there and what it represents. Beautiful car Cody!

    Cody,

As always I'm impressed with all the little details you've accomplished with your build. The breaker bar is a nice touch and tribute to your father, I'm sure he'd be as proud of your work as so many of us are here on the H.A.M.B. I myself have been back in the garage tinkering with my 62 wagon inspired by you. It's a serious long way from completion but it keeps me out of trouble! One part at a time......

Hey Cody, correct me if I'm wrong but you haven't paint the hood yet have you? I'm dying to see how it looks in paint! The whole concept from the forward tilt to the ribbed skin has got me chompping at the bit.....

Can I make this photo my new screen saver?

This has got to be the finest quality work of any of the projects I have seen, on the HAMB and maybe anywhere else. Speechless.
