Son of a bitch this is cool. Replace that firewall with a wheel of stainless and it'd be damn close to perfect. Reminds me of The Watson painted 5w.... ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1375060763.199750.jpg

In your second set of pics are a couple of cars that I had a hand in finishing at Fosses Hot Rods and Cool Cars. The first is the black fendered 32 3 window 4 speed dual quad car with cheater slicks that belongs to Rich Staph Sr.

And the other is the black 32 roadster with the white top ZZ430 powered one that used to belong to Rich Staph Jr. before he sold it. Those cars were fun to work on and I like the traditional style of them.

I was only able to make it up there for Friday in one of our customers car, a glass A 3window with a flaming skull grill and 6x2 intake on a 327 4 speed with one stiff clutch. I drive stick all the time but my leg still hurts from that one. Nice pics Jim Ford (55willys)

This thing was one of my favorites, almost exactly how my 31 will be! As far as paint/body. I was glad i was there this year. My family has gone 4 years in a row now. Hopefully some day i can bring my coupe down and cruise around the fairgrounds. A friend of mine had his blue and pearl white 55 chevy there.

  19. Thanks for the great pics ,the 49 chevy woodie is real nice but has pretty ordinary tail-lights.

Thanks for sharing a great batch of photos. I didn't make it through all of the 13 hundred and something images yet but will probably sit back and do it tomorrow. That show always seems to bring out a huge variety of rods and customs and it looks like this year was no exception.

After seeing all the great pics, I saw this sad picture. Hopefully those involved in the accident are OK. I don't know anything about the wreck , but it looks to be the same car to me.

Is it just me, or does this car have some interesting and cool mods? Anyone know more? Gary

Oh, crap! I didn't realize this car had been wrecked until checking back on my post just now. I'm not usually the insensitive type, hope the owner doesn't get POd at me. And that it can be repaired. Gary
