    1.6 rockers and 7.800 rods

After my new cam and springs I'm re-evaluating my valve train and going over everything, I did measure the push rods last winter and purchased 7.800 rods.

Would my pattern be okay, its a little wide and possibly I could step down in size to get a slightly smaller wear pattern,

I do plan to purchase a new set of Roller Rockers ( probably scorpions or comp golds ) and I would hope 1.6 of various brands are the same angle and so on.

Unless I'm missing something, that pattern looks great as is.

Looks good to me. On my OT truck pull engines we actually run a funky ratio rocker , so when the rocker is all the way down its in the center, but at the top it's slightly over the center

I always thought my line was to wide, I do see many guys getting the line much thinner.

When that band gets wider you will be making more H/P.

Have to mention that it really looks like a lack of lubrication also. That's a really severe marking on the valve stem. Make sure you put assy lube on the again prior to setting the lash.

Shouldn`t the valves be rotating if the geometry is correct?
