I'm not a business owner so I could be way off but, if the car was originally owned by the business owner by putting his business info on the car can't he use it as a business advertising tax write off?

Nice car. So what if it's glass? I'd be more tempted to drive the hell out of a glass car because you can't hurt the originality of the car.

ETA: If the fact that it's glass bothers you let me know. It wouldn't bother me one bit. ☺

Good looking car. Hey, drop by Braums in Sapulpa on Thursday evening sometime. They have a nice little car show every week.

Nice '32! You have a lot to work with there for sure. I would keep the RH drive just for grins. Drive it...that's what it is for!

I bought a glass '32 3 window because I couldn't afford an original steel '32 too. However, my mine a half finished project so I got it cheap. On its maiden shake down run, I got "Best in Show".

Put a blow up doll in the left seat for sits and giggles. I would drive the wheels off of it. That a nice car I would love a glass 5 window....Enjoy it most wont even know its glass until you tell them.

I agree on the door treatments; once the car is sold, they loose all meaning. I'd keep the armadillo myself. Not many of them in my-here parts.

When I go for a ride in it, will I itch?

I'm not a fan of the pin stripes either, when I see how hard the door crap is to get off, I may tackle that too. All the lettering has only been on for 3 months and I have a quart of the paint too.

Wonder if some of the guys that do pin striping could advise the best way to remove the offending signage?

Yea, I got a buddy that does all my paint work coming over to look at it. hopefully it can be done without a lot of painting:)

  26. Sign painter should be able to carefully remove the lettering on the wall.

You don't need to make any excuses for that car, it is a great start. All you need is some personal touches and you will have an even more bitchin' car. Looks very solidly built too.

Being from Australia (we drive on the correct side of the road but you guys drive on the 'right' side of the road; correct = right, we all win) so I'm really interested in it's right hand drive history. Did you find out why the car was built right hand drive? Down here people are now allowed to drive (certain) left hand drive cars which can make overtaking a bit tricky unless you hang way back and have a lot of power for a quick maneuver.

I like old steel but I'd rather drive a glass 32 (used to own a glass 34) than a "normal" car any day. People don't know it's not a steal car unless they tap it with their knuckles but if they do you'll tap them with your knuckles and when they wake up they'll know never to do that again. The smiles per mile are just as high with glass - especially from the public as you drive past. You should get a really low seat so you can sink down into it so it looks like no one's driving...lol.

But yeah, really interested in it's right hand drive story. Was it imported from the UK, AUS, NZ or South Africa perhaps? A bit of rubbing, scuffing, cutting and polishing will remove that writing.
