To bad, its very beat up but if he was right about it being a 32 I might pick it up for the 700 he's asking.

Honestly, if had been a '32, it would have been gone already at $700.

You'd be paying 7 grand if it was a 32, even for a hacked up x four door.

As others have stated it is a 30-31 Ford. If the sub floor is good and solid and door bottoms are good and open & close easily, that $700. isn't that bad here in New England

sorry , its a 30-31 model a , but never give up , I had a guy tell me about a supposed model a for sale one time , started asking a few questions , he tells me its a little different than most stating it has a cowl vent were the gas cap is , man we couldn't get there fast enough, and sure enough it was a 1932 deuce model a . ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR LEEDS 323 window

Thats what someone did. The trunk was cut off and a model a bed welded to it. The car is about a hour away and if it was a 32 like he said I was going to drive down and take a look tomorrow. I can tell early Chevys apart but Ford I have to ask.

Stand it on the firewall and inspect the subrails, if it is solid and not rusted out buy it. Rear quarters do turn up, and you could have a Coupe for short money. A senic ride in New Hampshire should be fun. Bob :)

I wouldn't think twice at 700, there is still meat on the bone.

I would do 7 bills but then again the top and doors would help me out because I have a pair of buildable quarters and a couple of trunk lids. That's a hood price if the Subs and doors are good.

  20. It is a Model A. You can tell because the Model A had the gas tank in the front behind the instrument panel (you can see the gas cap in front of the windshield in the picture) and the '32 had the gas tank in the back.

Agreed. Quarters do show up for sale occasionally and it would be a good path to a coupe.

Lower cowl is rusted through-hopefully the subrails survived.
Passenger door below the beltline is wasted. Hopefully the drivers door is better.
Roof looks to have been crudely filled and is oilcanned and warped up. Complete rework in order.

It's worth the 700 he's 'asking". Figure the quarter and rear window sections are worth about half the 700.

Offer 500 and settle at 600...

If it was really a '32, it would have a cowl vent and stock racks like this one.

Sad, that must have been the first and last ride for a lot of stock. Bob [IMG]

Saw that ad on craigslist the other day too... In the seller's defense he DID put Model A in the title... But for some reason also put 1932..

Still not a bad buy for $700

Yeah, everything is a '32. I once went to see a '32 three window body, turned out to be a '48 Ford truck cab.....
