A 1/18th FED I have had on the go for a long time.
Mated the roadster body from a hot wheels the 1/8th diecast roadster as seen in the background to the GMP Pork Chops early FED chassis. Of course it required a fair bit of work to get it all to work together!

Some stuff from me this week is this crazy kustom creation salt lake racer type car built from junk with the Revell 32 Ford speedwagon body and a totally scratchbuilt chassis, the other model is a 61 Ford Ranchero street car with a 350 Chev. Also check out my models in my profile and leave some comments if you wish.

    Hope this helps.

Im working on a 1/87 scale 1959 Impala LowRider.

Note in this scale the Co that makes this kit, dont make windows for it.
Sliver base with metal flake green flakes, 1/25th scale lowrider roof decals cut to fit the body. BMF on every trim with a high gloss clear.

    Made a window for it.

Ognib, you will only get points from me if that thing actually runs the first time you fire it up!! Great workmanship.

That little 27T lakes roadster is beautiful and the 1/18 scale modified roadster is a really interesting idea, nicely executed. That is what 32's are for right? Cut them up.

What a great start. Some beautiful workmanship everyone.

    Thanks, offset.
Realistic detail is my challenge, that's why I like the large scale.

The buggy spring locates the axle & will be eliminated with the 4 bar suspension, so I transferred the front of the axle tubes down to my layout paper for later reference.

Prototyping end links for the 4 bar system.

A re occurence of MRSA has come back to haunt me yet again. As a result , I was finally able to get enough corrected on the Florence Ave Gilmore station that will accompany the Zeppelin Diner some of you saw finished from last week. Theseare just "Dry Run" shots to see how much of a base will be needed . I have a lot more detail work to inside of the office and hopefully next week, I can share that too, right here :

This has turned out too heavy feeling for the car, but here's how the first run at the butt is turning out. The bullet end on the quarter will probably remain fairly intact, but the bumper and bit between will need to be reshaped. Tons of pics on the fotki. http://public.fotki.com/Gluhead/1956-ford-ranchero/page6.html

SteveB.... as always, blown away. I also like that 27 lakester as many others have pointed out. I've been kicking a 29 in the same trim around in my head.
