  1. ...the wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round....

  2. Wrong picture it is a bus. My camera quit working so i looked in my pictures and didnt realize it wasnt the correct picture. That bus I bought in missouri at a estate auction it was1/2 full of hoarded junk. It is now completly full. I towed it home behind a 3/4 ton 64 chev wrecker. raised the front wheels only 6 inches from the ground. If I gassed to quickly I pulled wheelies. If I ever have to tow something that heavy again ill attach a Y block ford boat anchor to the front bumper! The hood was jammed and after i got it home and pryed it open I was dissapointed to see that it wasnt a flathead V8. it was a flathead six.:( The very next week I sold the engine to a fellow hamber that lives in Calif.:) He promptly sent me the money. after several months he called stating he was coming to get his engine.I pulled his engine the next day. When I got it it was stuck . So I told him that he was buying a stuck engine. however I had previously pulled the plugs and filled the cyl.s with auto trans fluid and diesel mix. When I got it pulled it turned over freely by hand. He Drove from calif to retreve it. We had a really good visit and he really enjoyed looking at my sitting and rotting hoard. Another Hamber also once drove from calif to get a V12 lincoln flathead. He bought some more goodies when he came. :)OldWolf

This63 Studebaker wagon has been sitting for years .I was drinking my morning coffee looking through CL and it was in the free section! So now I have a Wagon project to add to my things to do.

I thought they fit the bill as Sitting and Rotting. You apparently disapprove, so they're gone.

  12. Strange how those two headlights have kept so well considering what the rest has gone through. Same for the radiator shell and cap.

  13. Probably due to the high quality plating done back then. They weren't as worried about protecting the environment as protecting the metal they plated.
