If you guys dont mind helping out a minibike novice... This one is for sale locally, guys claim it is a 50-60s sears model. Does that sound right? Anything to look for when i check her out?
Looks like an old sears model. The seat and gas tank are not stock. Go to minidoodle.com and scroll to the Sears mini bike photos and you will find one that looks identical to your photo except for the seat and tank. I am not an expert nor will I ever be!
You could also go to oldminibikes.com And search there pictures too Becareful its an addiction Sent from my ADR6410LVW using H.A.M.B. mobile app
New stickers $1 each. PARTICIPANT stickers not for sale. Message me for Quantity, Color and shipping address. Thanks Jeff
....it's one that just pop'd up at the rite price; I'm not ridin it cross country... and I wanted one I can load into my truck by myself, so it's perfect for me.
Here's what my 11-year old grandson is riding today. I had a doodlebug when I was 11, but never got off the ground!!!! w/sound: http://youtu.be/pXrMwpMnfMs
Hey Murf Where did the foot pegs go? A mid '70's ATC 70 was the first motorized bike I ever rode. I seem to be a day late whenever they pop up on CL.
JShaw - those look great! Are they waterslide or vinyl? Murfman - those are cool. I've never seen a stock 3-wheel mini before
I'll answer for Jeff since he's not on here every day. They are vinyl with a front backer to make burnishing them on without bubbles much easier. Absolutely the coolest logo out of our buddy JEEM from here on the H.A.M.B.
They were still getting powder coated when I took the pics. I'm up to 5 of them now, 4 of them with E-start 110cc Lifan motors and one with a 150cc Manual Clutch. That is a handful!
I just picked up an old mini bike frame, I have been trying to identify it. I will have to post a pic.
Type in Manco Minibike on Ebay and you'll find some parts, also the guys on http://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/ are very helpful and have parts for sale everyday. Glenn
Picked this up last weekend at a farm auction. Seat covering is in good shape. From the looks of the forks and the chipped paint without any rust on the bare metal , someone got careless and bent them slightly when setting up for the auction. Incomplete motor , but I have a few to choose from. Had to give $50 for it.
These are mine. left to right: Foremost Golden Pinto, Bird Duck (it's now powered by a 6 hp Honda), Bonanza Scout, Bird Falcon.
