Man, that is cool! What's the story on the find? That coupe looks good just the way it sits.

Just keep looking, they are out there hidden away in barns, sheds and basements. When you find them, take pictures!

Titus - that coupe looks like the one that was for sale a few weeks ago. Glad to see that you picked it up. What are the plans for it?

Yep, it was for sale on the hamb and ebay. was able to pic it up for a way more reasonable price than it was for sale fore.

Lots of good and lots of bad on the car, working on removing the bad, sold the 289 and 4 speed out of it, i think it had a olds in it so thats whats gonna go in it.

Aarestor - you did a phenomenal job on that coupe body! Any more pics you can post showing the rebuild?

  12. Got your work cut out for ya, Tuck. Good luck and great talking to you on the phone last night. Let me know if you need photos of those Packard taillights and the 36 back window. The window comes with a lot of metal around the hole.

Yes I have more pics but I think you should see where my buddy got it from. I will get him to give me those pics first then show more of the build.

Only thing I ever get to dig up is dirt, rocks, and weeds! Can't wait to see what transforms! :)

Story is my buddy was on his way home from his home town run and decided to stop at an old high school friends place. He was driving his flathead powered 33 Cabriolet and during conversation his school friend said there was a car like his in a ravine on his property. My buddy went and checked it out and sure enough it was a 33-4 5 window. The pictures explain the rest of it. We left the drivers rear roof section unfinished as my buddy wants to chop it.

I found two 5 window dirt track cars ten mins from where I grew up. !! And he worked worked with my dad for 20 years. This guys father used to race em back in the 50s.. So one he will not part with, but I may be able to score the other parts car, it's not a hack job race car, not all cut up....... Fingers crossed
