fuxl really like this. Did you get the plug wires with the cloth covering or did you install it when you made up the wires?

Well if nothing else it's weird. Does it work? That would make it look a lot better.

    Just gota love them 409s.

  26. Here's one I filched off of another thread on the HAMB just yesterday to put in my engine picture collection.

It is an old race car with an old British made J.A.P. (stands for J. A. Prestwick) air-cooled V-8, originally designed for an airplane engine. It uses an open crankcase so the oil system is constant-loss out of an oil reservoir tank. it is 5.0 liters (about 302 cu. in.)

    Looks great, man!
What have you done to it? Any internal changes?

  28. Here's a couple of pictures I filched off the H.A.M.B. just yesterday for my engine picture collection.

It is a J.A.P (stands for J.A. Prestwick) V-8, air-cooled airplane engine in an old race car.

It is 5.0 liters (about 302 cu. in.) and uses a constant-loss oiling system from the brass oil reservoir tank seen just behind the engine.

    Dig the aerodynamic header!!!
