    What size tires are you running? What did you use for frame paint? It looks great!
     
  4. British racing Dunlop 750 16 in rear. Dunlop 550 16 in front on Kelsey hays. The tires are special order from England and are very expensive too much to do it again but very cool tred

    Loving the look of those wheel trims. Saved a picture from a thread a while ago with these fitted on steels. Very nice touch.

    Looks great and is progressing nicely! How did you get the wire wheels to fit up front with the Lincoln drums? Did you have to run a spacer on the outside of the drum, and have long studs on the hub?
     
  18. yea there is a little ring spacer so the wheels dont crack

    Might want to run later running gear---IF you plan on cross country trips.
    I started out with the same setup in 1962.
    After 1 year of shearing the cluster in the '39 box, & twisting both axle keyways, I gave up & converted to late model running gear.
    No more problems encountered with 300,000 miles to date.-------Don
