Folks Of Interest Gene winfield and the dream truck coming to St. Louis

Gene Winfield will be coming to the Gearhead Invasion in St. Louis Missouri on August 17th 2013. Gene will also be doing a metal working demo at the show. This event is open to pre 63 cars and trucks and all years of bikes. We have the bands Hillbilly Casino and the Twistin' Tarantulas lined up with Miss Jubilee and the Humdingers kicking things off. We will also have a pin-up contest and Pabst Blue Ribbon will be on hand with some great giveaways. There will also be pinstripers and a tattoo contest Sponsored by Thunder Dome Tattoo. I promise this will be a action packed day! The event will be held in the parking lot of Gateway Harley-Davidson located at 3600 Lemay Ferry Road St. Louis Missouri 63125. Hope to see some H.A.M.B. folks here. Also if you are a H.A.M.B. member your entry into the show is free and we do have special rate at the Holiday Inn just down the road.

I have a good buddy that just moved to St Louis. I may have to make the trip.
BTW I don't want to touch your damned ole car, I haven't had a tetanus shot lately!

OHHHH! I start vacation that week too! Let's see, how far is St. Louis from NW Indiana......Mapquest says 5 or 6 hours....maybe this could work.

Just got the news this morning that the Rod & Custom Dream Truck will be at the Gearhead Invasion along side Gene Winfield. We are very honored to have both.

 

What time does it start?

 

9am till 5pm

 

I sure liked that purple version of the Dream Truck, That is one I have never seen and I wish I could be there for that.

 

Make a road trip up for the show. It will be a great time I promise.

 

I'm hammering hard on my 50 Poncho trying to get it ready for your show...was going to follow Kurt in The Dream Truck up there...he was wanting to make it a club function.There are a few guys in our club with pre-63s that have confirmed that they will be going as well.

How much space are you going to have on-lot for cars?

 

We should have plenty of room for as many cars as we can get here. Please get here early the morning of the show just in case we start running low on space though.

 

What time you need The Dream Truck there?

 

I would like to have it here around 8 in the morning before it starts getting to crowded.
