    Is that all stock Model A running gear? Are those the original A bones out back?

    I like your conduit work for the subrail & structure. It has me thinking that I might be overthinking/overbuilding my own subframe on my project.

    Its got model a banger with aluminum head dual carbs and a magneto


    Not going to be a street car
    Trying for a true racecar in late 40s style

    Show us the equipment your using to do the sheet metal work and tell us a little about your background/training. To do that level of metal shaping this isn't your first day on the bus.

    Pat did the nose he's a friend
    He's around here and there but everything else is pretty basic
    But the nose came out good

    Equipment is not much a small brake, bead roller and shrinker stretcher

    Made the hood and belly pan with just a piece of 2 1/2 inch pipe

    That is nice and going to be killer when it is done.

    I and probably a few others might just be borrowing your body framework concept in our own builds.

    If you look at the 26/27 roadster land speed cars from the dry lakes in the late 1940s they used the same tubeular body Structuring. Nothing new here just recreating history.

    Nice build, great to see folks doing their own work. That IS what this is all about. looks like you are doing a super job. I also like the fact that although you have a SBC sitting there, you are building a BANGER!!
