'Drove over to Winston Salem today for the show. After what seems like month of steady rain the day was, all in all not bad. Blue skies, typical Carolina summertime humidity. Here's some of what was there.

Did the bare metal 29 roadster on Deuce rails win anything?

  24. Great pics, seadog - anytime the Iron Lords are involved in a show they definitely bring things up at least a notch or two. Tomgnu's 32 3-window got the much deserved IL award - it is one killer car. I had a great time hanging around with Tom, T-gnu, all the ILs, and I had one of my best friends riding shotgun with me for the bonsai run from Willyburg - a great day and my roadster ran like a champ - a great t-up for Bonneville ....

Thanks on and all for a great day!

Toms 32 is such a great car. We all loved it and the fact that he drives the wheels off it.

Here is the car with our Road Pilots CC choice trophy. The trophy was hand crafted by our very own Porkchop.

My friend Jim Powers won the Iron Lords best hot rod award with his black 35 coupe (the one parked next to my Deuce in the above pics)...
