so nice to see someone is making a proper pan for these cars. they also make the piece in the middle where you didn't get one. I have one for a 49-52 I may be putting in.
I'm replacing my rockers. Dunno what they looked like pre rot. The were full of Lots of rot. Can you take a couple pics of rockers for me jbuh?? I don't have anything to go off of. I would really appreciate it fellow owner of a 54.
I am only having to redo my driver front rocker.. The rest look pretty decent just patch work on them... cut away unusable metal and cleaned up... took a one by one square tubing and went from kick panel to B pillar and welded in on front side of rocker.. did this to make a little stronger and make base for panel on top... cut out a panel to fit across!! The rocker was decent to start just about a 7" piece on inside was real bad... Cleaned all unusable metal out.. Weld panel on top and then patched the inside rocker to the top... Got a little bit of patching in the kick panel but all and all not to bad!!!. I hope it helps!! I don't have a lot of fancy tools and such I just get in the garage and try to get it done!!! Been a little bit since last post!! Got driver side pans done.. Now onto passenger side rear pan.. Fixed up the front rocker.. Check fitment of front pan almost done... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
