This car looks good in pictures, but it doesn't do it justice.
    It looks killer in person.
Saw it at rhinebeck one year.

I like how you did the rear wheel wells too, I have seen a few cars done like that now

Love your coupe kiwi1967, I always wanted pearl white interior, so when I got my Rivi the first thing I did was rip out the old blue fabric and had pearl white vinyl put in, I love it, the only "issue" is my dash top, I live in sunny Florida and it can glare a lot, but I keep a towel in the car to cover the dash if needed, good luck on the interior search! 6. This is a model a that I pulled out of a barn in the early 70's. The photo is from the 50's when the car was in the Hartford Autorama. It did not look like this when I got it but it still had the white R&P interior and running board covers. Also steering wheel cover:cool:

  7. Same car after I built it and 10 years later after I rebuilt it including chop. And same guy did the interior over 20 years later.

No not yet SuRfAcE RuSt...I have had to put my money into quite a few other things first on the car so I can keep driving the hell out of it!......new gas tank, exhaust, rebuild the rear end, repair a lot of electrical new gauges etc...but im preaching to the choir here, your car is never finished it evolves, im close on the interior though

This car was built in the Sacramento area in '54-'55, and the interior done by Cookie's of Fresno. It's exactly as it is today.

The gold piping looks great, never thought about that for an accent color, mmmm, maybe gold pinstriping instead of white, thanks everyone for your pics and ideas!

so after months of procrastinating and being busy with family and work im getting stuck into getting the running boards fixed up and upholstered , I've removed the smoothie boards off the car and all I can say is I think the car is faster!.. the previous builder of the car wrapped heavy gage steel over some old 39 standard boards and they must of weighed 80 lb's each!.... also there was no curve to them at the front like the originals and just looked out of place.. i picked up some replacement original boards to prep for covering.....with tuck and roll!.....i will post pics soon

I started on my 40 pickup interior this last week. Here is my seat. I used yellow welting. The side base panels will be covered in white as well.
