Here's one from 1968, I was 18 and my girl was 15, the '55 had a nasty 327 to replace the six wheezer.

 

Now the rest of them see why these 1941 Fords are smiling.

 

Here's another from 1969, sorry for the ot car but thought you guys would like a little cheesecake. That's in northern Wisconsin.

I got drafted in 1970 and she broke up with me through the mail overseas. When I got out I drifted around the country for a few years and was bartending in San Francisco and she walked in. Rest is history.

The boy was my first born who we lost in an accident when he was 19.

The T was the one I built with a pair of 5.00 swap meet meg headers that my buddies all said were obsolete in 1974, little did I know I was just ahead of my time a bit.

Married my sweetheat in 55 with my 55, she still puts up with both of us?

 

When we were kids, my buddies dad told all his coworkers that his wife was 400+ pounds and never left the house. Then a after a couple of months, he brought her to his Xmas party and everyone started whispering thinking she was his girlfriend. Needless to say, she was not happy, all 115 pounds of her....

 

Interesting thread. I'll comment that the term "old lady" is extremely dis-respectful and that I would never refer to the woman I love in that manner.

My wife is my best friend and deserves to be treated as such.
