11 hours drive aint shit...for one of the BEST events ever...We do it pulling a trailer hauling a cackle car..

I have heard great things about this event for years and would like to attend in the future.

 

Had to cancel my reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn, I can't go!
I have a 6mm kidney stone that's giving me fits, yes they hurt like hell!
4 trips to the E.R. and one to the urologist, prescriptions that do not allow me to drive.

Got an extra bed in my room at the News Inn. Thursday-Friday-Saturday. Female friends with benefits stay free. All others split the rent (about $50). Must be D&D free and current on all shots.

Sounds like a great event but this year health problems will mean I cannot attend.

We're leaving bright and early Thursday morning. Looks as if the weather will be pretty good after the front goes through Wednesday night.

 

The best burnout of the weekend. The tiki Warrier on the first pass on Sat.

 

This event has been my father's day gift every year. My youngest son went with me, he's 10 yrs. old now. He jumped out of his seat when the top fuel cars left the line. He wasn't expecting that. We bought the $5.00 ear muffs and they came in handy. The look on his face was priceless.
