Event Coverage Iola swap ... who is going ?

The Iola swap and car show in Iola Wisc is just around the corner... July 11-14th. No doubt the best car event of the year for me... cant wait I am always looking for hot rod parts ....

As usual I will be in the campground J/K 28-30 with my buddies.

My old man and I will be there for the 20th year in a row....

 

Been there every year since I was 12, me and my girl will be hunting bargains on Thursday and maybe Friday too if we don't have all our money spent the first day.

 

My brother and I will be there on Thursday. I will have my '35 sedan parked in the gate 5 blacktop lot. Close to the swap meet.

Gotta post after PBRMeSAP, I'll be there. In the same campground spaces 29 D & E. This will be my 35th year in a row.

First time in forever, I won't be going! Wedding in Whitefish Montana that I can't miss.

 

I'll be there with my pops on Thursday. I've never been there on a Thursday. What is it like compared to the weekend. Usually I am there on Saturday and I get sick of hearing about the chicken dinners over the loud speakers pretty quick.

My father and I will be there for the first time. We'll be unloading a lot of Model A and flathead parts cheap. Also have some original 32 sheet metal and C1 corvette parts.

I need to liquidate them for the family of a deceased hotrodder who were just going to junk everything.

Is there motel lodging in Iola?

 

I'll be there thursday and meet the canadians on friday.(just northeast of the tower)

 

There is 1 motel in Iola and it is probably booked 50 years in advance. Try St Point, Waupaca, Appleton, Oshkosh, Fondulac All 30-60 mile away.

A good reason for a road trip and some serious walking.

 

The best accommodations are at the campground. it's about 1/2 mile from the swap..... they run a lot of vintage trackers and hay wagons for a shuttle. it's the best run and organized show I've ever been to.
