Rhetorical Question! "Body Drop" is another "I used to be into mini trucks but now I'm too cool and into hot rods" perversion of our unique language. much like "Model "A" five window coupe"...

    Thank you sir!!!:D

    Way ditto my friend!!!

Hell, when did lowering a car become a "static drop"?

  7. if you can call a steering wheel, a flywheel, water wheel, ferris wheel, pin wheel, caster, roulette, grinding wheel and that goofy thing that Vanna spins a wheel, then it is not wrong to refer to tires, rims or a combination of tires and wheels, WHEELS.

  8. YES IT IS WRONG, if you want folks to know what you are talking about! In the vernacular of the automobile, the entire civilized and educated world know that the wheel on a car does not include the tire, so to call it otherwise is similar to teaching a pig to dance, you only waste your time and annoy the pig. :D

And I don't know of ANYONE who calls those items listed above (except for maybe the Vanna thing) a wheel, without the descriptive that goes with ~ ie: STEERING Wheel - no one just calls it a wheel

The builders get fed up of posting their progress. Stupid threads like this get more posts in a day than my latest build thread got in 6 months. Go figure!

hey, speak for yourselves, I been busy! I just came back inside from sanding a bunch of crappy, twenty year old rattle can black off the tank for my '70 daytona so I could expose the original Jacaranda Purple and get a color match. But I can ALWAYS find the time to jack-ass around on the HAMB!!:p
Kinda makes me think about stirring up the shit with a "So they say you cant color sand metallic lacquer" thread, but a bunch of guys will bust on me for posting off-topic photos of bike parts...;)

Man, just LOOK at how that 45 year old purple lacquer is cracked, checked and faded back. Sad, sad...

Now i was told that started when my great great Tata bought his first charp chort when he said engine they thought he was talking about a distant relative from Arizona....so he called it a motor......or so was the story passed down....

  24. Easy - have you ever heard of General Engines, the Ford Engine Company, American Engine Corp, Buick Engine Division, Harley Davidson Engine Co., Pontiac Engine Division, Bayerische Engine Werke, Honda Engine Company or the Yamaha Engine Compnay

Do you go for a ride on an Enginecycle?

Early automobiles weren't called Enginecars and you didn't drive them on the Engineway

    The magazine isn't Engine Trend

    :D:D:D:D:D
