[IMG]I'm on the proverbial 'fence'. Just looking for opinions. I have just over 6"s of head room while driving.

    the car:

-31 moredoor Murray body hacked into a 2 door channeled 6" over a tardel style model a frame, boxed front to back
    -2.3l with a lake pipe and autolite2100
    -ranger 5 speed overdrive manual
-splitbones on a home dropped A axle.
-53 f100 backing plated and hubs.
-9" with pete and jakes ladder bars and quarter elliptical springs.
    -65 mustang steering.
-vw van roof and fuel tank.

has a front v style spreader bar, 36 spare tire cover cycle fenders and a straight tube rear bumper to go on it to get it through my safety inspection. most of that will come back off I think. also not sure about using a visor, have a stock one and a drilled and dimpled that I could put on.

I have been staring at the thing so bloody long I'm not sure how to finish it. Just need some fresh insight.

I would normally be in the "don't chop it" camp, but with the channel it looks right as rain with the chop. Also, the photoshop of the chop shows that the length of the window frames comes back to dead on with the chop. Go three maybe four at the max, not too much.

Yep, a chop will make the funny rear window look better.

  15. IMHO its crying out to have those side windows filled like a sedan delivery.

I'd almost always say chop it but I'm on the no visor leave it tall side here! I can see it wearing a blue with heavy flake or a pearl white with white frame and wheels. White tuck and roll! Man!!! But that's just me!!!

Chop 4"- 5" max, any more it really screws up the proportions.

My first thought is to chop it too, but given everyone else wanting to do this, I say keep it tall and fill in the rear windows and turn it into a faux delivery truck, or even more out there, paint it all gloss black and keep it tall and go with a hearse appearance!
That might be a bit too far, but....

Is that a Challenger or a Commander parked next to it? That's what *I'm* talkin' about!
