So I bought this 60 F-100 about a year ago and after a couple moves to new houses I began to build it. I just got it back from paint. I know you guys stray from the flat black but I just couldn't resist. I went with a Satin black body and gloss black roof, interior, and engine bay. I'm looking to put a 390 with a tri carb setup or a 429. I have a 57 grille going to put on it. I've already lowered it using a Sid's drop axle and mono leafs up front and a flip axle on the rear. I need pics! I have a 57' with a front clip and a 429. The thing is a blast to drive but it wont pass a gas station unless you drop $40 in it!

Krackerjack on that axle flip, did the pumpkin end up hitting the bed deck? ... and how did you deal with it .... lets see some pics
As soon as I get home ill take some more pics. The rear end has a good amount of clearance. But I'm still going to put a small C notch in the frame. The pumpkin doesn't hit the bed as it has about 8" of clearance. I also removed some leafs from the rear. As for the front ill have to modify the steering a bit to make sure of no bump steer. I am having clearance issues with the front crossmember and axle. I am going to make or buy a new tubular crossmember to correct that. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

WTF? DUDE THAT IS UGLY!!! look at those wheels! i cant believe they'd take a good 59 and just cut it up like that. that looked like it was a nice truck too! oh well. should have sold it to me. anyway you will NOT be sorry with those colors. black fords are badass. show dem' minitruckers whos boss!!
