If the pile's cheap enough, buy it, get it all in your posession, and then sort it out.

Jack, what is the status? Have you secured the pile-o-parts or ???????

Ya know, for a small 'incentive' I could make the drive and help you sort through the mess......oh, no wait, momma thinks I should be moving stuff out, not in...:D

I might be interested in a 57 Desoto 341. If it was good and for a good price. I'd put it to use, instead of making a coffee table out of it.

My first thought exactly! I can't imagine not being able to sell Dodge or Desoto stuff as quick as you can get it! I talked to three different people this last weekend alone that were asking about Dodge stuff....

Oh, I routinely try keeping things from the Chinese around this house, but she keeps finding them!

  5. So what's going on with this deal ?

He bought them, found they were all vintage racing engines, sold them and became rich beyond all our dreams, and decided not to hang out with us any more.:(

Does this fall into the category of "it doesn't exist unless you have pics"? :p

Seriously, an up date is in order for us voyeurs...

This one got really, really weird. He didn't show with the trailer load of hemis he said he had. It's a really good thing, else we'd have been out the money and in the middle of a fifty cop raid into stolen vehicles, drugs and lotsa shit.

If that stuff ends up at the Newport Municipal Auction as a bid lot, it might be bought for less than scrap value.

Right now it's probably Exhibit B, miscellaneous used auto parts.
