What a great story. Thanks for sharing.

  8. Awesome read about the family history!

  9. The Vanderbrink auctions link has green tabs at the top of the text. As of today the "video", "photos" and the "online auctions" tabs work, but have little content. The others are bad links at this time.

It says over 500 survivor cars, all I can see is a few black and white pics with a couple of 4dr tri-fives in the woods.
Can some one post a link to some pics or a list of the cars?

  12. I think they are still getting pics of the complete auction together. List and pics of what is available should be up soon. Keep checking the vanderbrink link.

I cant believe all the unsold cars and trucks, one would think that when they did not sell the dealer would at least sell them at invoice to get them sold and off the lot. I did read that it was a no dickering dealer so the owner was probably was a hard ass and would have to get the new vehicle price even though it sat on the lot for a couple years.

I remember hearing about the "chevy dealer with the brand new 30 year old cars out on the farm" about 30 years ago.

  20. shhhhhushhh.....funny there was a guy 20yrs or so back selling stuff from a Montana (at the swap meets in Dallas area) - it was Mopar stuff - someone from his family....no hemi cars but they had a late a-body Cuda for around $5000...with low miles....saw a pic of it but still a little steep...at the time....

  21. Good lord!!!!!!

With excitement growing for the dispersal of the Ray and Mildred Lambrecht Collection of low-mileage Chevrolets, Yvette VanDerBrink has offered us this preview of the nearly 500 cars and trucks that will go up for bids Sept. 28 in Pierce, Neb. No, these are not misprints — the cars in the list below are unsold units with less than 10 miles on the odometer. Since the Lambrechts maintain their dealer license, VanDerBrink said they will be sold to the highest bidder on MSO as new cars. So yes, you can turn back the clock and buy a new 1950s, 1960s, 1970s or 1980s Chevrolet, but you’ll have to take delivery from dealer stock.

    1958 Cameo <10 miles
    1964 Impala 4spd <10 miles
1978 Corvette Pace Car <5 miles
    Vega station wagon 17 miles
    1964 Corvair van 14 miles
    1960 Corvair sedan 4 miles
    1966 Chevelle sedan 4 miles
    1964 Chevrolet truck 3 miles
    1964 Chevrolet truck 8 miles
    1964 Chevrolet truck 5 miles
    1964 Chevrolet truck 4 miles
    1964 Chevrolet truck 5 miles
    1964 Chevrolet truck 6 miles
    1965 Chevrolet truck 5 miles
    1963 Chevrolet truck 16 miles
1965 Bel Air wagon 5 miles
    1972 Chevrolet truck 3 miles
    1980 Monza 9 miles
    1976 Cheyenne 4×4 4 miles
    1977 Chevrolet truck 5 miles
    1984 Cavalier sedan 23 miles
    1978 Malibu 11 miles
    1975 Caprice 7 miles
    Chevette Scooter 817
    1964 Chevrolet truck 5 miles
    1979 Caprice sedan 5 miles
    1978 Impala 5 miles

A 1957 Chevrolet Two-Ten sedan with 33,000 miles is among the cars to be offered from the Lambrecht collection.

    HI,
This is Yvette VanDerBrink-VanDerBrink Auctions, please stay tuned to MY website for correct information. This is an amazing story and many fun things. We will be adding more info, pictures, video, and more. DO NOT COME TO PIERCE,NE prior to the preview time of the auction on 9-28-2013. IN respect to the family, we will have a preview for everyone on 27th, 2013. It will be a 2 day auction. I will be posting a preliminary listing on the website soon and on to my e-newsletter. I just talked to the daughter and she wants to make sure no one bothers her Dad at this time. He has suffered medical problems and we don't need anymore stress.
    Thanks you-
    Yvette

I'll be there. I live about 4 blocks away from the dealership building. Should be a neat sale. He has a lot of good stuff stashed away.

I just found the Lambrecht farm on Google Earth where most of this collection is located. Go to Pierce, NE and find Hwy. 13, follow it Northwest to the intersection of 854th. rd. Take a left on 854th. and the cars are in a mostly wooded area on the right before you get to the intersection of 548th. ave. The property borders a golf course to the west.
