Looks like one of those yahoos with a long bed camper shell on a short bed pickup.

Aren't you supposed to remove the truck body and bed first?

I was admiring how nicely radiused the wheelwells were!!

  13. bought the fronts set of 4 NOS in the boxes. Marked Dec 73. They were in the trunk of a 57 chevy a buddy of mine bought in the late 80's. The car was taken from a kid by his dad and never given back. (Kid went bad so the story goes). My buddy had them on a shelf and wouldn't run them. I bought them and took um out of the boxes and plastic bags, and mounted um up, and then did a big smokey burnout!!!

I thought you were talking about putting it on an S-10 Chassis, in which instance you would need to be killed. Nice job NOT doing something stupid like that. Glad you made it home in one piece!

Same thing I thought: "Oh, No! We're not losing PostApKusts now, are we?" LOL

I brought my '30 Chevy frame home in my '55 F100 bed. Went right past the Atwater CHP...
I know most of the guys, two of 'em were standing outside drinking coffee when I went by...One of 'em waved...
That frame was hanging 7 feet out the back. Had a red flag, though...

I was expecting an atrocity like the 65 Mustang on a Ranger frame I saw on Craigslist once....or maybe it was eBay.

Interesting body. I had a 64 Falcon delivery once. Never seen one chopped.

OK, thanks for clearing that up. I thought it fell off the truck and landed head first. :D

Never underestimate the power of the S10!!!! Me and a buddy hitched up an 18ft trailer to his S10 and drove all the way down to Santa Rosa (5 hrs or so on the 101) picked up a '55 Chevy Wagon, and hauled it all the way back home. We centered the weight on the trailer perfectly, truck didnt hardly sag at all...... Except when we hit a bump you could feel the bumper hit the ground and then almost pick the rear wheels off the ground! I was very impressed with that little truck tho, it handled it!!
