I miss the epic Big Olds roadtrip threads.. And speaking of pancakes, Oh glorious pancakes, I follow Megan on IG.. But its true. Its so hard to keep up with everything on here now.
facebook shmacebook!! I like it here wish I'd found it sooner really. I joined cos of all the cool stuff like build threads and event coverage and all great members. I guess some of the older guys who don't post much have their reasons...maybe exposure on the Hamb has increased their workload to the point theres no time anymore, maybe family etc gets in the way...or maybe they just think they're too cool to hang out here now what with all the FNGs n that oh well...birds of a feather flock together they say..theres still LOTS AND LOTS of AWESOME folk here IMO!!
When I see a girl with a wrench in her hand, and another with a curling iron, it's a no-brainer whom I want to get to know. If they can operate both all the better.
It's nice to be missed Like Denise said, a couple years back I accepted a position with RM Auctions/Auctions America as a Car Specialist and really couldn't be happier! I keep busy 24/7 finding great cars to offer at our auctions and matching clients up with the cars of their dreams! I'm still a hot rod girl, no worries! I still drive my '53 BelAir with the Rajo head, Black Beauty, and have recently added a '59 El Camino (that I'm in mad love with!!!) to the fleet. I plan to do a post on it soon once it begins it's custom transformation.
Easy killer! Ya know she hadda baby 8 months ago!? She's fine, but I'm still trying to lose the weight from it!
Hey Megan: Working for Auctons America did you have anything to do with the Steve McQueen 51 Chev that Rick from pawnstars just sold at one of thier auctions down there? My uncle owned that car for a short time around 94 or 95 before it was restored. Pretty cool old car.
I don't know how to pull up and post an old post of mine, but if you will go back to some of my previous post and look at ass waxing you will see what I think of Denise. I am still seeking revenge. Maybe this year. Later, Dick
