Im thinking of using contact cement. You can
put the pieces together before the glue dries
and that way get some time to move and
situate the parts properly before they are
    'stuck' together, right?

I actually just recently used Loctite to glue a rubber strip to metal trim and it worked great.

here is what its used for. I thought I posted this. I also have pics.

From the lady I fix this for:

I bash that mower around the yard like nobody’s business. Talk about self-propelled, sometimes I push it as hard as I can under the grapefruit tree so it comes out the other side cutting. I run over whatever is in my way. I run it backwards and forwards. I run it along the grass at the edge of the sidewalk. The grass slopes there, so I have to mow it at an angle, with one wheel on the concrete. When I mow, I zoom. I want to get it done as fast as possible. It’s how I roll.

I will add that her yard is very big.

Permatex Black Weatherstrip Adhesive works better for me than 3M stuff. but, for this application will take a super strength product to hold things together.

  24. I went to the 4077th for a hearing test at Camp Red Cloud .... could you repeat that?

OP whatever your local glass shop uses ... that's the stuff you want.

im thinking of drilling holes in the metal wheel around the perimeter and wrapping wire thru the holes and around the plastic wheel, once its glued in place.
