I will NEVER understand how someone can stop on a good thread and drop a turd. A member takes the time to photograph and document a ver difficult process and a few comments like "that ain't perfect" or "mines better" remind me of my whiney kids.

The chop rules. If I were to do it different I wouldn't tell you here where a member showcases his hard, excellent work.

    Time out for the children!

I guess it depends on what is being said, and how. I know when I'm working on a project, sometimes I get "too close" and may not pick up on something that someone outside the process might. The whole "forest for the trees" dilemma. I appreciate outside input, because I know I'm not perfect and miss stuff. If someone is just being a dick, well that's different.

Cool, I was guessing about 3". I'm looking at doing 2.5-3" myself.

    Damn, hope you're feeling better!

See, I'm the guy who'd like to be able to try this, so I need all the help I can get! :D

Thanks for the back up. I know some things are as stated. " forest through the trees". For sure. But I like mine better? Not sure I needed that. But whatever. Not my call I guess. I try not to put anything on any one else's thread that will bash anyone. Kind of like what you have done in the past. Pointing out a flaw or seomthing that the person may not be aware of or whatever. So again, thanks. I appreciate it.

so we lowered the rear of the car. And shaved a bunch of paint off to at least make the top all look the same. Give it a better profile to actually see rather than having all of the colors throwing your eye off. We will have those posted after a bit.

  12. Here are the updated pictures. Once Tech Week closes, I will start another as a build thread and will update this one showing the catwalk replacement.

Okay, I take back my comment about the back window. Definitely must have been the angle of the pic. Looks good! Want to come up to Idaho and help me do mine? ;)

I'm not big on radical chops. I really like what you have done here.

you nailed exactly the look i also like ...

i do not like the "leaning" forward a and b-pillars so your setup is exactly what i would have in mind (if i had a shoebox)

and THX for the numerous pics

Some of is like blue cars and some like red ones. Those that feel the need to say my blue is better than your red could use a lesson in common courtesy. This chop showed a great deal of thought, great execution and workmanship.

Thank you for sharing and taking the time and trouble to document the procedure. This was a different approach that I had never considered and I appreciate it very much.

I will look forward to future pictures.

Nice proportions. I particularly like the windshield, often awkward on chopped shoeboxes.
