This has been a miserable spring for car shows and cruise ins in the SE but it can't last forever. The wife and I are planning to go to Nashville next weekend for the GoodGuys event, one we always enjoy. I've finally got the 54 ship shape and ready for a road trip. Anyone else going?

Hope to. Waiting on piece at the chrome shop before I can put the coupe back together.

Maybe... I used to get worked up for Goodguys, but after my experiences the last couple of years I can kinda take it or leave it. Might just ride in with a friend.

I won't turn this into a Goodguys bashing thread, I just get more excited about Beatersville, the Hotrod Reunion in Bowling Green, and the Road Rockets show in Indy, and the Redneck Rumble.

I'll be there. Too many cars and big ol swap meet not to at least make an appearance.

Friday and Saturday are best. Sunday is for the locals who don't know what they missed on Saturday. :)

I agree with Gator, Beatersville and the others he mentioned are more suited for me! I'd like to hit the Swap meet, and that's about it!

I'm with ya. It's a damn shame, the show is in my backyard and have only been once in the last 3 yrs! Having a young family of 4 takes priority.

It sure is fun when I make it though, minus the $$$ entry fee. Jeez

  18. We are going to set up in the Swap Meet for the first time this year. GG Charlotte was a great Swap Meet for us last fall and Nashville is even closer. Have to deliver a Model A coupe body outside Nashville Thursday morning then heading over to set up in the afternoon. Probably bring A sedan and T coupe body along with some parts. Come see us.

This is a regular for me. Look foward to being there and appreciate the shade available. I do miss the registration being at the motel. That was a show in its own watching everyone coming and going for registration. :)

I'll be there again driving Akin's orange '40 Ford...then on to Indy for the next week for the vintage Indy deal....if it ever works out, I'll bring the Studebaker, but with the current plans each year, just impossible.....Joe

  21. Dang it!!! I'm gonna miss it for the first time ever....just could'nt get things to work out this year. It really screwed me over when they moved the show into May. Oh well maybe next year....I will be at Beatersville this year for sure (which will be my first).
