  4. That chop is perfect.....Keeps the turret, but has the flow.
I plan to keep the trim on mine.
Can't wait to see that Badass '41 done.

Eureka! I got my 3 speed OD tranny! Now to piece the rest of the rear end suspension parts for an open drive line!

So I was staring at my car last night & was deciding on the trimmings up front wanted to some opinions as for the front bumper. I like both, just the bumper with guards or no bumper what so ever! I attached couple pics showing both examples & I gotta say both look sweet!

    Subscribing.

I'm a fan of the no-bumper look personally.

Ok, I like the bumpers on those two. Bumper and bumperless both look good if done right I suppose. Just like everything else, the look of everything has to be built with everything else in mind.

That chop is perfect and it's great to see you sticking with an IL6.

  27. I have a set of '41 Caddy bumpers for mine.
I'll finally get to mock them up when we finish the chop.

I'm really liking 41 Chevys more and more as time goes on.
The chop looks great, real nice work there.
I think bumpers definitely look better for an early custom. No bumpers looks more street-roddish.
What are your plans to drop the back end down?

Damn! Somebody stole my idea for my '41 2 door. Just last night, I held up my extra '39 Ford headlight buckets to my Chev & thought "This might work..."
