I bet if you came up with a cool name...some gold leaf lettering, some vintage speed logos (not a ton of them) would look sick!

That's a great idea! Time to enjoy it, and wring out the bugs. Now that it's on the road you can do minor changes during the winter months, and enjoy it all summer!
I know how you feel about using a sbc. I have a 330 DeSoto just sitting on my engine stand whispering, "Just fix me", but I don't have the $5000 plus to do it justice. Both my '40 and '32 have sbc's. They run fine, I'm happy, and I still have $20 in my pocket. You have a good start there. Run with it and don't look back.

Too bad on the slave cylinder! At least it was better than my Falcon's BBC throwing the outer ring on the harmonic balancer on the first drive! Yikes! Not much damage beyond the water pump gilmer pulley, but still unnerving! I'm using a pressure switch for my brake lights, so it works pretty easy with any brake pressure at all. I may add a third eye also, as the wiring harness has the lead back to the rear in it, but I taped it off for now.
Ah yes, my old stomping grounds in the '70s and '80s before they really shut down cruising. (and street racing). At least get up to Lynnhaven Inlet, there's a little seafood place on the south side of the bridge thats really good. When I lived in Va that restaurant was pretty popular with the locals, who know where to go for good food.
Ive eaten at that restaurant it was pretty good! As far as the 3rd brake light I like the idea of the indicator light! Glad to hear it's back together, and that's a great rear shot of the Plymouth! My Falcon must have caught the clutch fever too, as coming home Sunday from our hotrod breakfast the pedal fell to the floor! I have mechanical linkage, and thought something failed, but it was simply a bolt that came unscrewed on one heim joint! Found the bolt, nut and lockwasher on the floor of the car. Got the tools out and put it back in, and all is well. Started this morning taking all the important bolts apart and blue loctiting them all to keep them in place!
Times two farmer. Great build plumbid. 37 Plymouth coupes look both badass and cool. (especially with fat tires). I think they have the best frontal look of all 30's cars the way the fenders, hood, and grill all come together. Gotta' admit the 33-34 Fords run a close second though. --- Steve ---
