I like David Perry's stuff quite a bit.

April May is making a good name for herself, looking forward to see where she goes with it..

There has been a thread or two on here with some really stunning photos, but damned if I can recall the guys name right now. 3 hours of broken sleep and a newborn are taking a toll on my memory it seems.

Coby Gewertz of "Church" has been a favorite of mine. I really like his deconstruction of the car, focusing on one area and then blowing our minds with it.

Shit, hope I got his name right.

John Jackson has amazing talent for all the right angles and his lighting is always perfect. You can always tell his work versus any others. True "art"... Not just pictures.

Too Tall Gahnal and that guy who is revered for low light/dusk and dark car magic from The Rodders Journal. Hank Cash did fine way back when he was here. Forget that 'puter generated acid trip/color/texture stuff.

  19. I live really close to Peter Vincent and it's an honor to call him my friend. Watching him shoot is awesome. Very well liked, down to earth guy.

Steve Coonan is my favorite. The Rodder's Journal has the best photos in my mind. Steve has the eye and expertise to make any car look fantastic.

I also vote for Grey Baskerville. Not only was, RIP, a great photographer but he was a true hot rodder. I know he always had good weather in so-cal but he drove his deuce roadster every day! I met him once and he was just a regular gut and we had a great conversation.

From a historic perspective, and being from the NW, I gotta say Pete Sukulac. As far as artsy fartsy stuff, how about Mazooma?

  23. I'll throw a couple into the mix:
Andy Southard.(pretty good striper too and a great guy)
Pete Millar(also a pretty good cartoonist)
    Chuck Vranas
Jack Eaton(did a lot for HRM in the early 1960's)
    Pete Sukalac

  24. Another vote for Mazooma.

  25. Tony is typo41 and Mike is Buick59

  26. Steve Coonan and Rodder's Journal crew, Peter Vincent and whoever shoots for Church magazine.
