Interesting, but the cowl area is too long for the engine to be completely out in front. Wouldn't that look better proportioned if the engine were set back into the cowl, letting the former front fender sides be hood panels? Let the scoop stick out of the "hood", and it'd have to be a little longer than shown now to "cover" the entire engine, pinched at the front with a rear radiator, grill between the tail lights. Everybody's a critic...

Works for me! That is exactly what I was thinking. Very neat ride.

  13. I think it's a good bit of inspiration and an idea of where to go with the idea.

How about adding a few miles an hour to my flathead six top end and making the grille black and white checkered flag look?

If you can, while someone is at it, I'd love to see the grille with and without the chrome inside the nose and make it white, with the black and white checkerboard in the grille. I'm curious to see if that makes the grille POP any.

Gotta get some larger sideview pics, the album photos are too small to use right now.:(

How about a subtle coloring? Blue roof, flake or pearled, matching the seats inside, wide whites, and matching blue on the wheel rims. Wheelcovers stay. Rear skirts.
Photo at the bottom of the interior to reference: THANKS!!

I guess there are 2 blues to choose from: The dash or the seats, the carpet's not a nice example to compare to:

I know where a real-life one of these is. Always thought it would be cool to rescue. I really had to look when i came up on it, as the conversion was pretty convincing.

Now i may have to go check it out again!

Hi guys, hoping to get some color ideas for my wife's T roadster. Could someone do a color change (or two) for us?

The windshield will be chopped at/below the blue tape and rounded at the top. The chassis and suspension will be gloss black and it will run a '29 A grill shell... possibly painted, possibly chrome.

    1. Semi gloss black with deep red (ox blood) interior, wheels and engine.

    2. Gloss maroon (think stock '40 Ford) with tan (peanut butter) interior, wheels and engine.

    3. Flattened cranberry body with tan interior, wheels and engine.

Any help is sincerely appreciated, and you certainly don't have to follow my guidelines. We're getting close to the time to buy paint and she can't decide.

ha! awesome man! i don't think anything is more rewarding in the photoshop thread than to see someone ask for an idea, then see it on an image, then actually do it! which you did. thanks for showing it

Was hoping someone had a few minutes to help me out photoshopping my 58 biscayne . This pic is off line but a good side shoot , can you lower it and make it flat burgundy. I've already bagged mine and am preping for paint . I'm thinking about hotrodflatz vintage burgundy pearl
