Sportin the 235 I6? It gets decent mileage, last one was a big block Chevy 468 with a tunnel ram. Fun but rough on the wallet.

In the world of hotrods, since when is the most common the winner? I say that despite having two Chevy 350's myself. I almost felt a little guilty buying a 350 donor car for my '54 last Saturday, but at least with this one, it would have had a small block Chevy if it were one year newer.

I have a Buick 350 out of a '69 GS sitting in the garage waiting for the right car. It will probably just be another 64 or 65 Skylark, but who knows? Great potential and not near as problematic as the 455. Now a nailhead.... That's a hotrod motor. I want ( need ) an A roadster with a nailhead.

Well since it is a poll, and 80%(in Sweden anyway) use the most commen GM350 so it wins the poll.

I could have voted MEL, but there's no way I can call my '60 Lincoln a hot rod.

ESGEE, i'm not looking for the "Winner" here, we all know who's gonna take that cake. Like i said before this is just a fun little poll to see how the "other" engines stack up against the sbc and who's seing what.

P.S. Don't ANYBODY use this little poll as a marketing tool to market any more shitty " MADE IN CHINA" parts for the small block Chevy or any other American made engine for that matter!!! :)

Looks like so far we have.
    1) sbc
    2) Flathead
    3) sbf
    4) Hemi
    5) BBC and Four Banger tied for 5th place.
Which is pretty what i was finding with my first poll, and the three i screwed up on.:mad:

add another vote to the chevy 6s for my coupe power, now only one vote behind the bbc.
unfortunately had to stab a vote on that one too for the nasty 496 chev in my 66 olds. Love seeing more and more people running oddball power.
