I posted this back in January and since then I rattle-canned the truck in Rustoleum Oregano satin. It doesn't fade as fast as the Duplicolor primer. I guess I got inspired and added an Almond color around the window.

I also found a better chrome front bumper from Craigslist, bought a repop chrome grill from an acquaintance - doesn't fit all that great but it pleases me. Installed the new door handles, mirror arms, yada, yada, Anyway...here's a couple shots of my '55:

Trucks looking real good. I like the color combination....wouldn't have guessed that was Rustoleum.

Well you did say Trucks, I know I will catch hell because it is newer, but it was a basket case when I got it, if it makes any difference it will be used to tow my old cars around.

Either way I'm pretty happy about how it turned out,
