That conversion looks pretty neat, is there room under there for rockers? I already have most of what I need, chromed front end, Highland quickchange, T body, 32 frame, and am awating a SuperDuty Pontiac four from Louisiana, the only big thing on my list now is body work and paint...probably won't do it myself because I want it to come out nice...Most of us could build 2 or 3 cars for the asking price of the Ardun, but I guess it doesn't hurt to set your hopes high.

the one thing I'll probably never have in my car is a high quality genuine tuck-n-roll interior done "just like the 50's".

I'm easy to please. A set of Ardun heads will do.

I bet a lot of people have my problem...I want EVERYTHING to be olde Ford hotrod perfect, all original Ford/Lincoln/Auburn bits, real early Halibrand, ancient Stewart Warners of exactly the rightmost vintage, real Ford bolts rather than anorexic modern one, and nothing ever touched by anything but real Plomb and KR Wilson tools in a garage that is older than I am.
The resulting mental problems are probably even worse than the bankruptcy...

  13. A 331 CAD intake and a quickchange for me.

Any pic of your roadster Jive Bomber? Not sure if I've seen it.

Haha! I suffer from this badly...

But, hey... its about the journey, and not so much about the destination?

1.) 417 Donovan with a Velasco crank and Venolia rods and pistons.
2.) Webster billet aluminum heads with Titan rockers.
    3.) B&J transmission.
    4.) 14-71 with a 4-port Hilborn, and a Dave Settles pump.
    5.) A hopped-up MSD 44amp mag.
    6.) A couple full 55 gal. drums of nitro-methane.

    I can handle the rest.

Oddly, it seems I now own my big-ticket item: I happened into a killer deal on a 250 six wearing a Classic Inlines aluminum head.

My gow is going to be composed of mostly non-coveted parts, so I'm not really lusting for anything exotic.
