This thread is awesome. I feel like I have just caught up with a bunch of great friends again. It is so cool seeing them all, in fact it looks like a selection of photos from my camera from last years Round up!!!!

Chris, from Perth Australia, was wearing a New Zealand 'Scroungers Blow Out' event T-shirt which made me chuckle ;)

Chris and his wife are originally from New Zealand....

I forgot to mention that he bought a 64 T Bird in California on this trip too.

  4. Same pie company has a store in Weatherford, Tx. It's at a BBQ place. Friendly service. Just off I 20.

  5. You can not go wrong with a road trip thread that starts with pie...fried or otherwise. I always love your trips, Paul!

    Paul,

We first met Chris and his wife at Viva las Vegas and they said they were headed to the Round up from there. Next time we saw them was in a small town in New Mexico while we were fixing John Denich's car. Out of nowhere he walks up and asks if we are ok. Then again in Texas at the show. Really nice people, but they talk funny.

  16. Heck Paul I like pie too. There's some fine pie here too, award winning best meat pie in Australia, just 2 minutes up the road.

Cleaning your camera when it went off "accidentally". Suuuurre...

Looks like you and the rest of the cool kids had a good time.

Hope to make it to few more places this year, see ya there.

PF, I would like to go on a trip with you sometime and eat my way across America. Before I could even consider it though I will need to get a smaller steering wheel as I am living on the very edge of walking. All of your trips are fun to follow along on. Take care and be safe.
