  8. Your ability is amazing. Nice save. Pat

  9. Rustiest car I ever worked on for a friend. Replaced the cowl, floorpan, inner and outer rockers, quarters, doors, upper and lower lift gates and frame. Did most of the metalwork, aligned the panels, then he moved it along to a local rod shop for finishing and assembly.

Now even I'm scratching my head. Did you ever make a car out of it?

  14. I'm gathering pieces. It will have a lot of brookville parts. I've saved a lot of the original too, but I will be assembling soon.

    My newest,

At least this one didn't have any trees through it. My sedan had five elms, one over 20' tall. Anybody got that driver rear window quarter?

I've posted this before in another thread but man was it fun to re-visit this. Things come along at the right time if you let them. I just got laid off, was going crazy inside and this car/process helped me get through it. Do I still miss this car, you bet!

I was going to post pictures of two of my rides but I can see they do not fall into the same category as some of these turds.. seeing some of this makes me never want to buy someone else finished project.

amazing what some folks safe and the talent/ skills they have to do so.....

    i agree with Boones ...
some guys seem to have a endless supply of patience and talent,
to start with cars that look to me like there is almost nothing left :cool:

i cant compete (not even close) but here is my project:

she is a 1952 Diamond T model 722 (medium duty truck)

ex Santa Fee FD pumper ... obviously cut in half after she was obsolete :(

and how she looks now (still a work in progress ... but that does not keep me from driving & enjoying the old girl)

The wrecked one hid out in a barn for 46 years so its really solid. The blue one spent its life up near Detroit's salty winter roads
