Just curious how fast you are able to drive on that stretch of I-10? I know traffic moves at 80-85 mph out there. Be safe.

80mph is posted speed. We are holding about 70 with a strong head wind / cross wind and everyone is still flying by us.

We made it to Las Cruces New Mexico tonight. 630 miles from Austin. Even with a full day of driving we managed to "find" some new old places. Here are some random photos of said places.

    Passenger.

Made it thru New Mexico and into Arizona about an hour ago. There are very strong cross winds which make staying in the lane difficult. In spite of the wind we are making good time.

    Well,
I made it home. Another year of thinking about the trip to the Round up and before I know it I'll be back on the road again.

This year was a whirlwind of driving, exploring new places and discovering hidden treasures. I really wish I could just set out with no restrictions of time and get lost in America. There is so much to our country that I want to see and experience. But, like so many of us there is a mortgage to pay and responsibilities to keep up.

So I try to see as much as possible in the few days I can get out on the road each year. I was fortunate to have some good traveling partners this year. Everyone got along well and we had fun. I'm already thinking about my route for next Road Trip to the Round Up.

    Thanks for traveling with me.

Great to hear you made it home safely. It was good seeing you at the show and following you along on this thread. Lots of spots that I need to explore myself. I agree on the getting lost in America part. That would be a dream come true.

    See you next year.
