    Art personified. Ditch the tires and get the ones you want. Can those be colored somehow?

    Yes, you could paint them gold with a tire paint pen, as someone mentioned.

  5. Nice hoops! The tires look good in the pics....maybe spray some of that white wall bleach on them to lighten up...or try the tire paint....

    Even at a pumpky-orangie-yellowish hue, couple that with the green.....so organic. Run it. Embrace it....

    This was actually the first car I looked at as soon as I walked into the gates, it's perfect.

    To me it is a beautiful look. Very much the American GT vibe. But what is important is what is the beautiful look to YOU! If it doesn't work for you, change it.

    I think it would also be sweet with a plain black-wall. I would be afraid a white-wall would be too "bright", and compete with those beautiful wheels.

  23. I can't count how many '65 Rivi kits I built from AMT as a kid, all with the wire wheels. They just seemed to always look "right" on that body. Yep! Those wheels on a card board box would look good! {As others have said.}

    I was ready to hate the wires but they are ok. A bitch to clean though

  25. I prefer the whites,or even the red lines,but it doesn't look that bad. At first,I thought you were putting on Vogues....WHICH SUCK! Unless you're building a 70's Pimp Caddy,haha.
    If you don't like them,you better change them...cause it will always bug you.

  26. I'll probably get lynched on here for saying this. First of all, nice wheels. I think I would've gone to the Wire Wheel King in Campbell though. They used to make the original Zenith wire wheels. before Roadster bought the name. Made right here in the good old USA.

    Now I'd better duck so I don't get hit by all the stones!
