That looks Killer! But if you're still thinking about redlines I'd try it out in photoshop first. Something about the idea of red and green on your Riv makes me think it might look a little too much like a Christmas car.

  2. I never knew that about hold line tires but now that I do I think I would run red lines on your riv, or would that make it more muscle car-ish rather than "era gt"??

    What about blue stripe tires??

  3. Very tasteful and cool - leave the orange lines they look very cool.

  4. I did not think wheels on a Riviera could look much better than Skylark wires but these Borranis look niceeeeeeeeeeeesh !! Super Nicessh.

As for GT Racer look, it is obvious that the 1960 Ferrari 250 PF Coupe heavily influenced the Riviera Design Team so the Borranis just look 'right' on this body style and so does your visual theme...I look forward to seeing the next steps...

Great choice in wheels, Ryan. I know what you mean about the 'orange' lines. I would never have thought to put them on that car. But seeing it (albiet in pictures) makes me think, "That is not bad, sir". While I think it doesn't quite fit the car, it certainly sets it apart from all the other Rivs on the road. Run 'em. You may grow to love them, and if not, its ONLY a set of tires away from what you want.

  8. I went to a local BOP car show in Scottsdale a week or so ago in a 64 Rivi and was changed. I have always wanted a 65. Neat cars with lots of style. Your car looks good.

You could put those wheels on a cardboard box and it would look dead sexy, but on the Riv they look fantastic. The gold lines really set them off. No idea if it would work or last past the first rainstorm, but I wonder if you could apply gold leaf with rubber cement adhesive to get a true gold appearance?

So even the delivery of a set of Borranis is an EVENT. Gotta love those crazy Italians. Thats so cool. The Corvette gold lines fit so well with the overall theme, orange stripes or not.

Dude. Borranis. Dooooood. That looks killer. If I bought a set I'd need to get an extra wheel so that I could cuddle it when I sleep.

    They look great.

One question though (okay 2) did you convert to spindle mounts? I don't see lug holes. What am I missing?

LOVE this. Yes. I'll spend the weekend moping about not being at the Round Up, working on the roadster and resolving to not miss it next year.
