There must be a lot! Recently I got an invite to see an older gents stash. Most people say that he has 3 or 4 A's as well as a couple other cars. Went to the "warehouse" .. 27 A's, over 75 cars stashed. I was sworn to keep the secret, no pics. Nothing for sale till he dies. Can't sell the children.

I have two, both unchopped, although the coupe may get chopped once I get into the build. There was close to 5 million Model A's built, they seem to pop up everywhere, in my family including uncle and cousin's I can come up with at least 10. I would bet there are still over a million in existence.

  16. one less since last November, when I chopped my 2 door.

I guess people are still finding them out there, how many were built?

In my neighborhood I can think of more unchopped than chopped. Probably a half dozen within 10 miles of me, that I know of. A guy stopped by here last week, from another town, he has 3. One thing, unless they are in poor condition, they're hidden in a garage most of the time.

It's weird. When I got the Tudor about 6 or 7 years ago I was all gun ho about chopping it up. But the older I get I don't want to chop it. I just can't bring myself to saw such a nice piece. Now if I had a beat 5w I would but still.. I'd keep the pieces cut out so that it could be brought back to stock.:D

  27. With my limited knowledge of Model A's there were 4,849,340 built so I would suspect the surface hasn't been scratched! HRP

I've got an unchopped 31 A Tudor. It will be chopped 6 inches as soon as I start the build. The windows are way to big from the factory IMO.
