I'd like to check that out! Is it the one they chopped at the show in Kansas? I've never installed the Buick trim on a Merc, but it's just a matter of positioning it where you want it, cutting it to fit the door gaps and body, and making new holes. Most of the Barris trim swaps in the old days were just butted up with the seams showing, but nowadays you can tig weld it back together. Send Brad a message on here and I'm sure he can offer more advice on that particular trim swap.

  9. Nice, I was thinking that was a Lincoln rear bumper which I have thought about running at some point.

51 Caddy rear bumper with 50 guards. I had a 51 Lincoln rear bumper for it but decided not to use it

Jim at J&M Design here in Temecula got Lee's Merc in primer...bodywork will be done later on...just an epoxy to keep everything from rusting.

Looking to start back up on this project and I'm in need of a shop to finish it up. Prefer a shop that has skills and know how working on Mercs. I would like to find a one stop shop. Needs bodywork, paint, glass, trim, body to frame swap, new rolling frame finished, engine and tranny swap. Any takers or suggestions please PM me. Thanks!
