Features Does anyone actually use their hot rod truck?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by indestructableforce, May 4, 2012.

  1. I would make this truck work its ass of at burning the rubber of every set of tires I could get my hands on. its beautiful, but I get the usability thing. I drive my 53 beater often but our beautiful 56 sits in the garage except for special occasions.

I may haul a few things in my '61 GMC, like a few things from Lowe's on the weekends, but it's eventually going to be built to go fast. I use my daily '05 Colorado with Line-X to haul the dirty stuff.

I have a 55F100 and I try not to haul anything that would scratch it.

Last week I bought 100 3' X3' carpet squares, no problem?

Who would have thought you can bottom out a 1/2 ton PU with carpet squares?

Such an awesome post. I'm planning on making my Model AA usable to haul my Harley and stuff around town. A trailer hitch is a great idea too for a trailer.

Would you settle for a decent camera phone pic?

Here's a couple from Symco 2012, the best show that I never got into, well with the car at least..

1959apache- those aren't chilis man! They're mud bugs! Looks like a crawfish boil in the makings, notice the propane tank.

  13. Not one of my better weekends, had a nice long visit with MHPs finest and found out it takes $400 in attorneys fees to beat BS charges. But I did get this nifty picture when I filed for discovery.

I built my 40 pickup as a tribute to my Dad's buisness he had when I was growing up in the 50's. Copied the logo from a pic he had, but his was a '50. I drive it everywhere , haul whatever I need to in it, and it's a hoot!

My '53 'Binder R130 (1 ton) will be used as my main driver, no pussy-footing around with it!

The actual charge was obstruction of justice and interfering with an investigation.. (cause I'm a bad ass accountant)

Me and a friend were running sweeper for a local motorcycle club ride and loaded a members full dresser in the back of my truck... Apparently the MHP and the small town impound yard have a deal and I "interefered and obstructed" their cash cow...

I think Barney was just pissed he didn't get to haul all the bikers in

I was warned that the MHP officer is the governors brother

The last time I was in Vegas I stopped by Rick's Restorations and they said that he uses his classic every day for work and as a shop truck.
