What is this snow stuff I keep reading about? It's 96 today and should be 101 degrees tomorrow here in Laredo, TX.

Roadster looks outstanding I'm envious for sure! Almost 70 here yesterday spent all day in the shop trying to clean it up. Today can't get out of the 30s didn't get out there to do anything!

HEHEHEHEHEHEHE! I wish we could have more of a typical winter down here. Down here our seasons run about like this: Summer typically runs from March/April to about mid November. Then we have a weird fall-spring mix from late November to March with maybe a week of a mild winter thrown in the mix. I guess how you guys think about winter cold I think about summer heat. It can get depressing when it's 10 o'clock at night and still 95 degrees.

I'll pass on the 96-101* stuff.... That's too Damn Hot, even for summer.

Thanks on the roadster, the weather here in Tennessee is a finicky bitch. Sometimes good, sometimes shitty.... Gotta pick your poison.

Thanks, we are in the 49 percentile on the Roll Bar. Either way, it's been there since '56 and it's staying. Here's a pic from '57 on the first drive. Roll Bar is there....

Same pipes in 1977.... The "After Header" changed for the worse, but still mostly the same 20 years and thousands of miles later. ;) Sans Roll Bar at this point tho.

    Two Feet..... That's crazy.

I flew into Chicago alot of years ago, to see Pantera in concert (in April). In the WalMart parking lot there was what I thought from the plane to be a HUGE white tent.... It was a snow pile.

Being from Tennessee it was an unbelievable sight. We have a couple months of cold weather, but usually none of that white stuff you call snow....

The concert was great, the weather was terrible. ;)

We do get that white stuff, but it's RARE.

Thanks RickyBop..... I'm glad to be the custodian of this VERY historical car.

  13. That roadster wants to be here in south Florida cool wheels!

  14. Here in Denmark, we got a bad snowstorm coming in. So even the wikings leave the roadsters in the garage.

No pics but had the sedan out Saturday and went to a cruise in. Aside from being a bit windy the weather was great.

  18. Looks like you guys had a nice time; been dyin to get one of my old rides out for a drive but this crummy weather won't cooperate;...only 24 degrees this AM and snowin again. Last year in March we were in the 70's-low 80's!...should be in mid-to-upper 40's by now.
...we probly won't get a Spring this year, it'll go rite into Summer.

Drove mine about 175 miles yesterday, Holland, MI to Chicago, IL. No heat either as my heater core is bad, but it was about 35 or so, and the sun was out, so worked out well! Still itching for some warmer days, which look like they're coming soon!

We came to Austin for the HR Revolution and fell in love with Texas.

You should just bring that coupe down here for the winters.... I'd be glad to keep it exercised. ;)
